Also, if you play around with any emitter long enough changing it’s particle shape and other parameters , you can almost always come up with a completely different look and feel from the same emitter. The first 4 libraries concentrate more on elements you might use in motion graphics type work, along with a few extra effects here an there. If nothing else, this collection can replace a few stock background libraries you might have. Please let me know if these libraries do not show up in your “check for updates” library list!

So you may have to wait a while for them to show up, but you’re going to be getting some really great stuff! They are frantic and unsettling. Another reason I like particleIllusion emitetrs much.

The light burst, emitterd fiery debris traveling away from the epicenter while the atmosphere progressively slows it to a halt as the flames run their course leaving a trail of smoke. I am amazed that this complex and beautiful imagery was created using a particle emitter system.

I remember you did say, last year? I know you’ll be impressed if you haven’t seen the pro emitters before. The artists who created them utilized many previously-unknown tricks to get pI to do some really incredible things.
Please let me know if these libraries do not show up in your “check for updates” library list! These aren’t just any libraries though Each has a very unique, particle illusion emitters in some cases, a very surprising look and evolution.
I think you’ll be amazed at what you find here. As an After Effects artist, I kept particle illusion emitters about how many layers, key frames and time it would have taken to achieve the same look. There are a few blood splats shown below right as well as medical x-rays of body parts that flash on and off.
These are highly useful backgrounds from which to build upon. But each of the other 3 libraries has a lot to offer as well, depending on your needs. These are extremely complex animations. You might not think of a use at first, but when the right project lands on your plate, you’ll remember them and find a way to apply them to your project. The others undulate slowly-as if not to call attention to themselves. As you’re probably particle illusion emitters, I haven’t been as diligent with the emitter library releases recently as I should have.

Sorry that is strange. The last 2 libraries called Eclectic 01 and Eclectic 02 contain a slew of very realistic effects by artist Tom Granberg one of my 2 personal favorite pIllusion artists – the other being creative cow leader Elvis Deane. These are really nice. So when wondertouch asked me to review their latest product – wondertouch Professional Emitter Libraries or “Pro Emitters” for short – I expected only good things, but nothing particularly new pun intended.
